With all the posts about Big Sur and food, there was a race or two that we ran last weekend. For both the 5K and half marathon, the San Jose courses were nothing spectacular. What made up for the lack of scenery was the great weather (especially in comparison to the heat/humidity of Chicago/Virginia Beach), mostly covered/shaded, flat and fast course, and seeing all our run friends throughout the course.
