Fontana half marathon complete. One of my goals is to run a race in all the cities that I’ve lived. This is about as close I’ll get to running one in my hometown of Rialto. This one was in memory of my step dad, Steve, who proudly served in the Navy, but lost his fight against Lukemia years ago. I decided to start this blog to document my experiences in running. I am a runner who doesn't follow some of the widely accepted practices of running. For over two years I've been running in Vibram Five Fingers and for over a year, I have taken up running on a low carb or Ketogenic diet.

I've completed multiple half and full marathons using these unorthodox methods and am constant tweaking and improving.

I don't believe there is one tried and true way to do things, and what may work for me, may not work for you, but feel free to follow me on my journey.
