Great run last night with my Nike run fam. My Tuesday Nike run is usually my “speed” or interval day as it’s a pretty flat route with minimal stop signs after the first mile. These major local races (Surf City/OC/LB) are always a great reminder of how blessed I am to be involved with the OC running community. Being able to see so many friends on the course and being able to give and receive support from start to finish makes running so much more enjoyable and fulfilling. So proud of all my friends who ran today. Those who completed their first marathons, PR’d, paced,or just came out and ran some miles either officially in the race or to support other runners. Brought out the new racing flats for the second time last night during Nike run club. I will still do the bulk of my training and running in my Five Fingers but wanted something just as light with a tad bit more cushion for the marathon.
